Publish a Canva design as a tracked link

The FileDroppr app for Canva publishes the design you're working on straight to your FileDroppr account as a secure, trackable PDF link. Share it like any other link and see who opened it, which pages they read, and for how long.

What you need

  • A Canva account.
  • A free FileDroppr account (you connect it once, no API key to copy).

Connect FileDroppr in Canva

  1. Open a design in Canva and add the FileDroppr app (also reachable from the Share menu as a publish destination).
  2. Click Connect FileDroppr account and sign in. Canva handles the secure sign-in - there's no key to paste.

Publish and track

  1. Choose your link options: viewer mode (standard, flipbook, swipe, magazine), how long the link lasts, whether downloads are allowed, and an optional password.
  2. Click Publish. Canva exports your design to PDF and FileDroppr returns a tracked share link.
  3. Open the readership report in FileDroppr to see who read it, page by page.

What data is sent

When you publish, Canva exports the open design and FileDroppr uploads that PDF to your account over HTTPS. Sign-in uses OAuth 2.0 - FileDroppr never sees your Canva password, and the app stores nothing beyond what's needed to create the link. See the privacy details.
